A trusted family-owned company
Not every passenger can climb the steps of a regular coach. When someone in your group uses a wheelchair, you need a vehicle they can board safely, so they travel with everyone else instead of in a separate taxi behind the bus. Coach Hire Amsterdam offers wheelchair accessible coaches for groups travelling in Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands.
1. One group, one vehicle
Wheelchair users board the same coach as the rest of the group. Nobody needs separate transport and nobody arrives later than the others. On a day out, a school trip or a company outing, that is what makes the day work for everyone.
2. Safe boarding and a secure place on board
The coach has a wheelchair lift, so passengers board without being carried up the steps. On board, every wheelchair is secured in a fixed position for the whole trip.
3. Drivers who know the equipment
Our drivers operate the lift themselves and take the time each passenger needs at every stop. They plan pick-up points where boarding is actually possible, which matters in the narrow streets of Amsterdam’s city centre.
4. A vehicle that fits your group
Tell us how many wheelchair users travel with you and we match the vehicle to the group. Our accessible coach takes up to 15 wheelchairs in one trip, so a larger group of wheelchair users can still travel together.
The more we know in advance, the better we can plan the day. Please let us know:
With this information we propose the right vehicle and a realistic schedule.
Groups book our wheelchair coaches for day trips from care homes and day centres, school and club outings, family celebrations and sightseeing in Amsterdam. We also arrange accessible airport transfers to and from Schiphol, and transport for congresses and events where some guests use a wheelchair.
Travelling with a larger group? An accessible coach can run alongside one of our other vehicles from our fleet, so the whole group leaves and arrives at the same time. For tours and excursions outside the city we drive anywhere in the Netherlands.
Send us your travel date, the route and the details of your group. We check availability and send you a personal quote.
